Vietnam is a country that is facing an increase in air pollution, especially in the megacities of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. While several studies on air pollution in HCMC have been carried out, there is still a lack of real-time, high-resolution and high-quality data. So the HealthyAir project was born. The HealthyAIR project seeks to check air pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and health problems caused in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to support the main construction policies to reduce air pollution and improve peoples health.
We will model air pollution to understand its time dependence on the time of year. We will determine how traffic, industry, residential areas and sources of biological emissions contribute to the overall level of pollution. These predictions, in conjunction with the public health analysis will make a strong case for the development of new air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions policy. A mobile app will be developed to enable the public to know pollution levels, both current and forecasted.
Our main features:
• Real-time air quality map - see what the outdoor air quality is like in the Ho Chi Minh City area.
• Provide health recommendations to help you decide when to stay at home and when to go out to protect your health.
• Notifications of outdoor air quality changes - save your favorite locations and monitor their air quality 24/7.
